What Qualifications Do Prosthodontists Have?

A Prosthodontist must have undertaken three years of full-time postgraduate study at a recognised, university-based clinical specialist training programme, in addition to their undergraduate dental degree.

The specialist training programme must be recognised by the Dental Board of Australia. These specialist qualifications are registered through the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency.

A specialist qualification ensures the provision of safe, predictable, ethical and appropriate treatment.
